A Weird House, The Alps, France

Most of us are dreaming to enjoy our time by having a rest in quiet nature of the Alps and sinking into a crispy snow layer, far away from a noisy everyday life. You are most likely not aware of this strange house, which seems to have lost its way in this virgin place. The enchanting alien house is located near Chambery in the French Alps, on the edge of departments Savoie and Isere. This strange "farmer" house was built in 1970 by design of Swiss-origin architect Pascal Hausermann (1936-2011). There are four living levels in this 110 m² floor area house: the first and the second levels include kitchen, dining room, three bedrooms and a bathroom. The third level is a reading room with fireplace and a large terrace with fantastic panoramic view. The forth level is a library. Here no right angles but only curved walls and many nooks and crannies. Recently, this lovely mountain house has been put up for sale at a price of 420,000 Euros.
