The Old Mill, Vernon, France

Although this structure doesn't have high architectural values, it remains a legendary symbol of Vernon. The house, known as The old mill, is the most popular landmark of a town. The history of this small lovely town dates back to the X century. The mill is a half-timbered construction, hanging over the water, keeps on two supports of an old destroyed bridge over the Seine. Once there were several mills like this one. Here, in a corner of paradise, many impressionists, as well as Claude Monet, created their exclusive masterpieces by plunging into solitude.
