Cube-Shaped Houses, Rotterdam, Netherlands
The cube-shaped complex designed by Piet Blom consists of 38 "cubic houses". Original design represents a tree, and all houses together make up a wood. Blom's concept was to design a kind of village within a main city, with shops, schooland playgrounds. One apartment of the house in not occupied, but fully furnished and turned into a museum. Each visitor of museum can feel the atmosphere of real life in this "Cubic forest".
